FUTSAL

Futsal or microfutbol was born in Uruguay in 1930. It was Professor Juan Carlos Ceriani who , using waterpolo, basketball, handball and soccer rules, drafted the regulations for this sport. In 1965, the South American Confederation of Indoor Soccer was created, the first international sports organization, currently affiliated to Futsal World Association (AMF) and in 1971 the International Futsal Federation (FIFUSA) was created., direct predecessor of the AMF.

Each futsal team should be 12 players : Male, Female and mixed or combined, 5 on the field and 7 alternates of 5 players in which there must be a goalkeeper on each team, the game is to introduce the ball into a shielded arc by the goalkeeper of the opposing team who will try to prevent the ball from entering the goal. It emerged inspired by other sports such as football , which is the basis of the game; the handball ; he and others more like water polo ; and basketball ; taking from these not only part of the rules, but also some game tactics.

Game Period

A futsal match lasts 40 minutes and is divided into two times of 20 minutes each, stopping the stopwatch every time the ball is not in play, plus breaks of less than a minute that the coaches wish to make (dead time) .
In this sport the time played is measured. For example, when the ball goes out or a foul is committed, the time stops (if it is of junior category or higher, on the contrary, the game will not stop). Until the ball goes into play it will not continue. Unlike football , the time lost until the end of the match is rewarded.
In games of direct elimination, if a match ends in a draw, 2 extra times of 10 minutes each will be played, which will play 20, minutes in total. If the tie persists, the round of penalties will be used, which is similar to that of professional football except that 3 penalties are thrown instead of 5.
With an intermediate period of 10 or 15 minutes. This is used as the rest of the game, it is not counted on the stopwatch.

The futsal ball is smaller than the soccer ball.
The balls used will be of the models approved or authorized by the corresponding Federation.
The organizing club must have at least two (2) balls ready for the meeting, which must be presented to the referees in their locker room for control, these being responsible for them until their return to the team at the end of the match .
It will be spherical.
It will be made of leather or other suitable material.
It will have a circumference between 62 and 64 centimeters.
It will weigh between 400 and 440 grams at the beginning of the match. It will have a pressure equivalent to 0.4-0.6 atmospheres (400-600 g / cm2) at sea level.
Dropping it from a height of 2 (two) meters, it should not bounce less than 50 centimeters or more than 65 centimeters in the first boat.

Futsal is a more beautiful sport, the goal as the original is to score more goals than the opponent unlike football, the court is smaller, therefore it needs to make more passes, and it helps us to socialize more as people and share with them.
