BUNDESLIGA: BIOSECURITY MEASURES FOR THE RESTART

Karl Rummenigge, president of Bayern, explained at a press conference the biosecurity measures that the German stadiums will have.

• Two tests before restarting workouts

"The green light depends on organizational constraints. Each team had to undergo two coronavirus tests last week, and in the case of Bayern Munich , fortunately, both came out negative. So no one is conditioned by this terrible virus. Since Sunday our team is concentrating in quarantine until this Saturday, then we will travel to Berlin in a crankcase flight. Only the technical staff will go on board.

• What will the return to the stadiums be like?

"At an organizational level, spectators are not allowed in the stadium , nor around it. Only those people who enable television broadcasting, 10 journalists and other professionals up to 236 people will have access to the venue".

• Coronavirus tests every week

"The medical conditions are strict. Every week our players and the coaching staff will undergo tests. If a player or a technician tests positive, the decision will depend on the health institutions of each regional government or city. In our case, it will decide Munich what would happen.
